Colourful vocation

My biography is as colourful as I am. After my professional training in bank business management and my time as a certified undertaker and executive manager in our family business, I decided to do what I had always wanted: to study something creative. I started with communication design. That was when I also came in contact with art. I wanted to know more about it and decided to do a master programme in history of art. My academic career culminated in a doctorate. My curiosity and the desire to share my discoveries in the world of art with as many people as possible give me the greatest joy. So, in 2016, the idea for my blog was born.

"Do it, even if it doesn't work out!"

And to all those, who question the purpose of art, here my favourite quote from Johannes Cladders: "It is in the nature of art to pose questions. That is its answer. Art has no purpose. That is its purpose. Art is an immaterial world. That is its materiality."
